hafez tomb in shiraz

some weeks ago I was in Shiraz one of the most beautiful cities in iran , the city of Hafiz and Sa'di ( two famous iranian poets )
i went to hafez tomb and sit there and think about that great man  ..
I do this painting and some other there on site ...
i like this one ...
here to you Hafiz as you give me inspiration throughout of my life .

Sketching and my sketch books ...

Nowadays I work on my paintings for sending to SanDiego watercolor society international show in the US and the second competition of watercolor biennial in china .
i try painting outdoors regularly and some of these paintings worth exhibiting, I guess. there are lots of feeling and energy in these pieces.
but i do sketch more and more week by week in city scape and town and i do really like this process.
i have two sketch books one in small size and another in a bigger size .
today i like to show you two of my sketches in my sketch book.
i think sketches can be used as a great material for painting a very bigger version .

walking between walls of the alley...

studying Great John Singer Sargent ...

Nowadays I became fammilliar with works of Great American artist John Singer Sargent and knowing him open a new world and great experiences to me ...
this post is to thank this wonderful man ... who help watercolor to become a serious media in the world ...

peace be upon him.

sky, trees and the ground...

Joseph Zbukvic once whispered in my ears " there are two major shapes in all paintings heaven and earth"
i saw this tree who was not belong to this planet.
he was a divine creature... and he missed his land ..
I felt his inner feelings .
he said to me ... " i know this is a long road ... but i have to start walking ... " he said to me...

The mosque and the stores...

a shrine in my city ...

ladies in Rice farm....

The look to the future ...

the Sistani man was sitting there
there was something that catch my attentions
His look floating in space ...
he was so free ..
he has nothing in this world ..
but his beliefs ...
I love make painting of him .

The dyer and the colors. ...

days and days of thinking to Painting...

Its about two weeks that I couldn't do my paintings regularly and that made me anxious. I was starving to do my pleasure activity.
at last it was thursday that I take about 10 hours to do painting.
it was so fun and so pleasure ...
calmness and eternity ..
i love that feeling.
----
ps1. I like the figures I call them " One minute sketches." because of their freshness
Ps 2 I'm going to exhibit my "One minute sketches " at Tehran University about January at Tehran University...
And I wish to spread this experience around the world.

Again a man and again my calmness ...

...

painting freely...

I was watching a movie by Master Joseph Zbukvic and my niece, Mary, was with me. i asked her to paint if she wanted ... and she said ok
she started painting and it was a wonder for me how free was she ...
i love the  fluency in children's painting. and i think thats the essence of great painting, not to be anxious and only think and joy the process.
here she is with my colors and Habico chinese style mopped brush

my beloved Wife...

this is a painting of my beloved wife.
we were in a park and i was painting that I saw her leaning on a bench..
and what more did i want ..
the beauty and calmness of her seems to me as an eternal essence

the lady ...

the fountains mingle with the river
   and rivers with the Ocean,
The winds of Heaven mix for ever
    With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in this world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one spirit meet and mingle
    Why not I with thine?---

See the mountains kiss high Heavens
    and the waves clasp one another;
No sister-flower would be forgiven
      if it disdained its brother;
and the sunlight clasps the earth
and the moonbeams kiss the sea:
What is all this sweet work worth
if thou kiss not me ?

by :Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)
