It's winter days... And i've started to capture the snow... And the purity of it...

My watercolor course 01

My watercolor and presentation class is every wednesday, 7:30 am to about 7 pm in Qom, Iran. If you were around here it would be such a pleasure to have a visit and drink a cup of coffee and talk.
On my first session of the course i started with an exercise and give the students a photo and ask them to draw and paint it with whatever medium they like and after that we talk on the results and i started my demonstration on pen, market and ink .
Working with ink and pen and working with marker would help the watercolor artist to have a better understanding of tonal values.
The results was a pleasure.
As a watercolor artist, watercolor and ink is a way of meditating and feeling relaxed for me.
And its such a great times when i left every other thinking aside and looking for a way of narrating a scene for other and with the least brush strokes i say everything that looks necessary to be told...
This is a way
A lovely journey of pleasure of painting with passion...

كلاس هاي درك و بيان من در قم هر هفته چهارشنبه ها ساعت ٧:٣٠ صبح تا حدود ٥ بعد از ظهر تشكيل مي شود و بسيار مايه ي خوش وقتي خواهد بود اگر در اين نزديكي هستيد همديگر راببينيم و گپي بزنيم
اين هفته من فعاليت آموزشي بر روي تكنيك ارايه با ابزارها را شروع كردم
در ابتدا تصويري به هنرجويان ارايه شده و از آنها خواسته شد تا آن را بكشند
و سپس بر روي آثار كشيده شده به بحث و گفتگو نشستيم
و بعد من به ترسيم و توضيح پرداختم
سعي در توضيح پايه هاي تفكري
و ارايه با مداد، ماژيك و آب مركب
نتيجه لذت بخش و عالي بود
استفاده از ماژيك و مداد و ترسيم توناليته ها كمك زيادي به روند تفكر مناسب در هنگام كار آبرنگ مي كند
به عنوان يك نقاش آبرنگ ابزارها و فرايند فرصتي براي آرامش و لذت براي من فراهم مي آورد

this was an sketch of a traditional iranian house in Isfahan .. 

i like the simplicity which watercolor offer me ...

shaddow and light ... the other side of my soul

this is one of my paintings in coming exhibition of Shargh Watercolorists Group in Iran.

 when I check my thoughts and my styles one of the dominant parts is the light and shaddow 

....

I think that this is the essence of watercolor painting that it reveals the artists soul and inner thoughts .. 

and I like this aspect of this medium

in real life the light seeking and knowing the darkness is one of my continuous endeavors ... 

and of course my world is in pure light ... with dark shadows ...

the flowers and the Lady in red

this was a painting that I did it when my baby " Bahar " was sleeping in my arms .. 

and this was a vase of flowers ... 

i tried to capture the calmness of this composition and the brilliance of that rose in red ... 

it seems to me that it is like " the lady in Red" 

Dear Bahar, you are my lovely lady ... 

and I imagine the night that you wear your Red night dress as a bride .

تلاش در ارایه درک از فضا و حس آن تلاش من است و در این مسیر کاستاگنت همراه بسیار خوبی است 

اولین کتاب حرفه ای و جذاب آبرنگ که خواندم که مرا تا مدت ها مست خود کرده بود کتاب "نقاشی با شور و اشتیاق " اثر این استاد بزرگ بود 

شاید تمام تلاش های بعدی من بر اثر گرمای این کتاب ادامه یافته است 

هنوز هم این کتاب محل رجوع من است و از خواندن دوباره آن لذت می برم 

اما نکته ای که وجود دارد حرکت و رشد کاستاگنت در طی این حدود 10 سال از زمان آن کتاب بوده است ... 

آبرنگ مسیری است بی انتها .. 

مسیری لذت بخش ... 

Sketching and my sketch books ...

Nowadays I work on my paintings for sending to SanDiego watercolor society international show in the US and the second competition of watercolor biennial in china .
i try painting outdoors regularly and some of these paintings worth exhibiting, I guess. there are lots of feeling and energy in these pieces.
but i do sketch more and more week by week in city scape and town and i do really like this process.
i have two sketch books one in small size and another in a bigger size .
today i like to show you two of my sketches in my sketch book.
i think sketches can be used as a great material for painting a very bigger version .

Single Simple Idea ... یک ایده ساده

ایده اصلی این نقاشی یک کوچه با خانه های بلند و ماشینی که تنها مانده است

این نکته را از آلوارو کاستاگنت آموخته ام

آلوارو برایم گفت : نقاشی با شور و اشتیاق داشتن یک ایده واحد ساده است که اجازه دهیم از ابتدا تا انتها بر فرآیند نقاشی حاکم باشد

yesterday I've listened to GHAZAL ( The Rain) album of Keyhan Kalhor and Shujaat Hussein Khan,

its a great album... 

I've listened to it again and again more and more through time...

its a mixture of Iranian and Indian Music...

دیروز دوباره آلبوم باران را گوش دادم اثر کیهان کلهر و شجاعت حسین خان 

چقدر من این آلبوم را دوست دارم 

و چقدر قوی است 

به نظرم باران نقطه اوج و قدرتمند ترین اثر در بین غزل 1و 2و 3 است 

اگر این اثر را گوش نداده اید توصیه من به شما تهیه و گوش فرا دادن به آن است

چند وقتی است به خاطر مشغله های کاریم کمتر می رسیدم نقاشی کنم و پست ارسال کنم ..

ولی سعیم این است که دوباره به همان رویه ی روزی یک نقاشی، روزی یک پست برگردم

دلم برای نوشتن های روزانه و کشیدن های روزانه تنگ شده بود

Monday afternoon I went to visit my friends and sketch outdoors. our appointment was in Tajrish square, north of Tehran. 

we sat on the sidewalk and start painting. It was such a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed painting there with my friends.. 

we made paintings and laugh together .. and talk on each others work... 

and eat ice-cream... :D 

it was so delicious ... :D :D

here are some photos of that day and some of my paintings ... 

دوشنبه به اتفاق چهار دوستم قرار گذاشتیم که برای نقاشی در فضای آزاد همدیگر را ببینیم. 

برای این قرار میدان تجریش را انتخاب کردیم و در نزدیکی بازار تاریخی تجریش شروع به نقاشی کردیم ... 

و خیلی جلسه لذت بخشی بود 

مردم ما را نگاه می کردند و می گذشتند 

اما مشتاق تر از همه مردم ردهپایین بودند 

مثل رفتگری که کنارم ایستاد و نگاه می کرد و با خود می اندیشیدم که او در مورد من چه فکیر می کند ؟ آن جوان زحمتکش

یا آن چای فروش 

یا آن یکی 

یک راننده تاکسی هم از من خواست تاکسی اش را بکشم ... 

در کل لحظات خوبی بود تنها دلتنگی ام نبود تو بود ... 

و تو خود می دانی که این تو به " تو " برمی گردد

نقاشی کردیم 

و صحبت 

و خنده و نگاه های متعجب مردم 

و بستنی ای که با هم خوردیم ... 

و اینها نیز دو نقاشی از آن بعد از ظهر

the bazaar and rain... بازار شمال

this was a scene of a bazaar in north of Iran, where the heaviest rains fall in the year.
I like the dampness of weather and the smell of fishes and vegetables.
I miss North of Iran ( we call it SHOMAL) and Caspian sea.
it was exactly last year at this time we were in Shomal with my fiance, we had such a great moments there ...
I hear the wind that sing " wish you were here ... "

بازار شمال در زیر رگبار باران دلنواز ... 

و آرامش 

و شور مردم در این هوا 

دلم هوای شمال را کرده 

هوای گشتن در این بازارهای دلنواز همراه همسر مهربانم 

چند شب پیش بود که " ماهی ها عاشق می شوند " را می دیدیم با تو
وقتی به این فیلم می اندیشم عنوان این کتاب پروست در ذهنم ی درخشد " در جستجوی زمان از دست رفته

و چه فضاهای نابی داشت ... 

این هم جند اسکیس از آن فیلم و آن شب به یاد ماندنی

Here you can see some sketches that I've made while we were watching a movie named " Fishes fall in love"; that was very sensual movie and I can call it  " Search for lost times."

سالهاست عنوان این کتاب مرا به خود می خواند تا در فضایش غرق شوم

امیدوارم زمانی آن را بخوان

این نقاشی را روز پنج شنبه در کلاس به سرعت کشیدم

در حالی که در کنار دوست عزیزم احمد زحمتکش بودم

و با هم یک موضوع را کار می کردیم

این اثر به ایشان تقدیم شد

به امید موفقیت های بزرگ برای ایشان

این روز ها محو آثار نقاش بزرگ آبرنگ جان سینجر سارجنت هستم و آثار او و قدرت قلمش مرا مبهوت کرده است

در طول مطلعه یک ساله ام در آب رنگ به نظرم سارجنت یکی از کسانی است که در صورتی که کسی آثار او را ندیده باشد سخنانش در مورد آبرنگ بار کمی خواهد داشت

این پست ادای احترام من است به این مرد بزرگ

من برروی آثار اساتیدی که دوستشان دارم مطالعه می کنم و از آثار آنها به منظور مطالعه کپی

اما کار من کجا و کار سارجنت کجا

این پست کپی یکی از کارهای سارجنت می باشد ( فقط به منظور آموزش

روح این مرد در پناه رحمت خدا

Nowadays I became fammilliar with works of Great American artist John Singer Sargent and knowing him open a new world and great experiences to me ...

this post is to thank this wonderful man ... who help watercolor to become a serious media in the world ...
